The special “power” of a “celebrity” to inspire and influence practices and trends in their followers is both a privilege and a responsibility. This award will be given to a celebrity who has catalysed awareness and improved people’s practices that impact the well-being of commercially exploited animals including farmed animals, poached animals, animals in experimentation and entertainment; and animals bred for profit in sea, land, sky.
