Celebrating Bhadra Award by Thane SPCA

The ‘Celebrating Bhadra’ Award – presented by FIAPO, and sponsored by Thane SPCA – is for organisations that have made exemplary contributions in helping animal(s) in instances of cruelty and disaster relief. The award is primarily given to recognize efforts in cruelty prevention and disaster management and to encourage innovative methods to stop both.

Applications for this award are invited from all, and two winners will receive national recognition and a cash prize of Rs 30,000 each – one for cruelty prevention, and one for disaster relief.

Eligible nominees: The nominee must be a registered organisation. This application must be for one specific instance of cruelty and not for cruelty prevention in general. No legal case pertaining to animal cruelty should have been lodged against the person(s) involved.

Selection process: All applications received by the deadline will be reviewed by the FIAPO Awards Subcommittee. The selected awardees will be notified by 15th January, 2022.
