Dr. Chinny Krishna is the Chairman Emeritus for FIAPO. Previously, he has held 2 terms as the Vice Chairman for the Animal welfare Board of India. He is the Chairman and MD of ASPICK Engineering Private ltd.

Dr. Chinny has been honoured by the Humane Society International with a Lifetime Achievements Award, is recipient of the Government of India’s Jeev Daya Puraskar in 2000 and the Prani Mitra Lifetime Award in 2021. He also co-founded the group that was registered in 1964 as Blue Cross of India.

He is referred to as the Grand Old Man of Animal Welfare in India.
