Palak is the Founder of Vegan First- India’s leading plant-based media publication and events company. Vegan India Conference, their flagship event, is held annually and attracts participants from over 22 countries. She is also the Vice-Chair- World Vegan Organisation-India Chapter. She has been a part of the task force on vegan foods by the FSSAI (Food Safety and Standards Authority of India) which is responsible for setting regulatory standards and guidelines for the vegan food industry in India.
